Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
The Double Black Diamond golf course is a challenging and extremely picturesque par 70 course. Next Thursday, September 7th, the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 9 hole Ellicottville Golf Outing. The event starts at 4pm with a shotgun start. Holiday Valley’s Double Black Diamond Golf Course
If you can’t make it out to the Ellicottville Golf outing, you can still get out and enjoy a round at Holiday Valley. Alternatively, there are a number of other golf courses within an easy drive of Ellicottville. The Double Black Diamond at Holiday Valley is probably Ellicottville’s first stop for golf. It is surprisingly reasonable for such a well renowned course. It was nominated by Golf Magazine in 2009 as one of the best redesigns in the country. Buffalo Golfer judges it, “a memorable and fair layout that takes complete advantage of the opportunities provided by its ski resort topography”. Moreover, golfers will be pleasantly surprised by the green fees. 18 holes is just $37 Monday to Thursday, $49 Friday to Sunday and a bargain $26 after 4pm Monday to Saturday or after 2pm on Sunday.
