Ellicottville is an amazing destination. It boasts some of the best skiing in the East. Holiday Valley regularly places in the top 10 ski resorts in the East. Holimont is North America’s biggest private ski club. Ellicottville’s apres-ski is second to none. However, Ellicottville is missing one thing. Ellicottville does not have many lakes, but that is about to change. Ellicottville Lakefront Chalets are coming.

We have finalized our plans for Summit Springs Lake. Next step is approvals, but we are just too excited to keep the news to ourselves. If all goes according to plan, our site will include a small lake. You can see it on the site map below.

Summit Springs Lake
Why is it called Summit Springs Lake? 42 Degrees North is home to the highest peak in Ellicottville. It’s true that we are only a few feet higher than Holimont and Holimont is only 10 feet higher than Holiday Valley, but highest is highest. So that explains Summit. It also gives Summit Springs Lake the purest water. We don’t want to get too technical, but water flows downhill. Rain lands pure on our summit and flows pure in to our lake.
Lakefront Ellicottville Property
Ellicottville Lakefront Chalets would be pretty great right? So, how do you do about securing a lakefront chalet? You can browse our chalet and cottage models here. It’s important to point out that we don’t have our approvals for the lake construction just yet. However, you can reserve one of our lakefront lots. All deposits are placed in to trust. If we don’t receive our approvals, your money is returned to you. If you are interested, just fill in our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Small, but perfectly formed
This is one of the lakes we based our design on. It’s not big enough for speed boats, but that just adds to the peace and quiet. Being small means that it warms up quickly so it’s perfect for swimming. At the same time, in the winter it freezes quickly – perfect for skating!
