We have recently been looking for luxury ski chalet rentals in Ellicottville. It was a tough job. We will start building our own luxury ski chalets in Ellicottville in the spring. Until then, when we come to Ellicottville, we need to rent. We started to look in the summer. There was not much left. In the end, we paid nearly $1000 a night for a nice place quite near the village of Ellicottville. The chalets at 42 Degrees North will be much nicer though!

Good Quality Photos
You may think that professional photography is an attempt to make the ski chalet look better than it is. However, we look at it differently. If a chalet owner has not gone to the trouble of taking good photos and presenting their chalet in a good light before you book, will they take care of the details once they have your money! Good quality photos also show you exactly what you are getting.
Bathrooms
There should be a good ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. There is nothing wrong with having a luxury ski chalet that can also accommodate a lot of people. However, sometimes all the floor space is used for bedrooms. Our Mansfield ski chalet has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Concord ski chalet has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Our 5 bedroom Ellicott ski chalet has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The Allegheny and Elk Creek ski chalets have 6 and 7 bedrooms respectively. They both have 5 bathrooms.
Reviews
In the age of Airbnb, reviews are everything. Tripadvisor reviews can sometimes be problematic. It is possible to enter a review on Tripadvisor without having stayed in a chalet. Airbnb reviews are much better. You must have stayed in a chalet to review it. It is not unheard of for people to leverage a chalet owner with the promise of a good review or the threat of a bad review, but generally reviews give an excellent impression of a property.
However, we are confident that, if you rent an Ellicottville ski chalet, you will have a great time. Ellicottville chalet rentals are a fantastic way to spend time with friends and family.
