Winter forecasts are in and we smell snow!
The forecasts for winter 2017/2018 are coming in and they look good! And by good we mean cold and snowy. The National Weather Service is calling for an average winter in terms of snowfall and in Ellicottville, average snowfall is just fine! Holiday Valley, Ellicottville’s public ski hill gets an average of 180 inches of natural snow and supplements that with some of the best snow making in the east. The Ellicottville Real Estate market is obviously very dependent on the amount of snow, so what is good for skiers is good for the Ellicottville Real Estate market.
The Farmer’s Almanac is even better. They know what we want to hear – “From the Great Lakes into the Northeast, snowier-than-normal conditions are expected. We can hear the skiers, boarders, and snowmobilers cheering from here!” They also have a funky graphic.
